Why are they not talking to each other?

The day before yesterday was amazing, not for pleasant reasons but still amazing. At about 2 pm one of my friend called me and said that he is not talking to one of our common friends anymore. Then about half an hour the other one called me and said the same. I listen to whatever they said but couldn't quite make out the reason that was causing them not to interact. Then in the evening an old friend of mine called me and said that she is not getting any response from her good friend who is also a good friend of mine. I again was unable to make out the exact reason. That didn't end there, at about 10 pm one of my internet friend asked me that why is he not receiving any response from one of my good friend who is also his friend. Wasn't that amazing? Or should I say it was weird? Has something like that ever happened to you? Is it the season of not talking to each other? Or what?
