Two years of lottery!

Last sunday is the two years I buy lottery. In order to memorialize the special date, I went to buy Olympic lottery. The Olympic lottery is $0.7 a piece. I bought $10 in total. At last, I won $3. However, I went on buying by the winning $3. I had nothing. Why? Why can I not win the lottery?

I used to always buy lottery tickets but for years never won anything so I stopped buying them. When I used to buy the ticket and then didn't win anything i used to think what I could have done with all the money in all the times I had bought the tickets...
