Every kid will like to have fun and there are so many ways to have fun. What do you people used to do in those days when there was less toys and less entertainment gadgets which are available now. Compared to this modern world then there were nothing that could be enjoyed. I just think so and what do you people think. If i am wrong please do not be serious and share your ideas.

Odd I responded to this, then my lot signed me out. When I was a kid, we spent a lot of time out doors, riding bikes, roller skates, jump rope, basket ball, kick ball, baseball, playing games that didn't need toys or things such as tag, red light, hide and seek, running races, and others along those lines, we would put a radio in a window [no boom box, it was plugged in the house and sitting on the window sill or on a table in front of window, and we would all be out side listening] In the winter I read books, our school had us go to the library every other friday for english class, and we did go the library in the winter time, there were word games and reading projects etc that were held at the library other activities for kids of various ages. I learned to count by playing cards the older kids knew what the cards were I had to count the pips on the cards. Being a girl when I was younger I played make believe games, such as office, or played house with a doll, you had a doll or two not twenty. other things were inexpensive like paddle ball, most kids had one we would see who could go the longest before messing up, or jacks. Most of the kids had a checker set, We had some board games you would get one for xmas and I still have some of the board games I had for years we interacted with people face to face rather than online, cell phone or text messaging I think that is what I remember most, there were always people around,

I always had toys, we had alot of board games that made you think, like Go To The Head Of The Class. They made you answer questions, plus you learned things. There were neighborhood baseball games, fishing, barbecues, church picnics, town parades and school games. The town I grew up in had weekly dances for teens on Tuesday nights at a hall with a jukebox, costing 25 cents to enter. Many local kids from other towns joined in. We were more physically active than the kids now a days.

Sorry for being so late in replying, I have been out of touch with my lot for some reasons, now back in full form. As for your question, I remember climbing trees , playing with dolls making toys with lots of mud and yes singing a lot. listening to stories from grand mohter. Our child hood was ful of more adventure than any kid I see today.
