Will you still be proud... if you get the best response mark... even if you are the only one who responded?... I have a couple of best response marks in which i was the only one who responded... but i am still proud about them... since everytime i respond to a discussion... i make it a point to give my very best... but some people think that it shouldn't count since there was no other choice... But nevertheless... since i took time to respond with quality... i am still proud of it... How about you?...

It does makes us feel good to get the best response... it is like getting an A+ or a 99 in the report card... this is one mylot feature that i really like even if some members are calling for its removal... thanks for the response...

Usually I get the best responses when there are no more replies there. I hardly won the best responses around so many responses for the discussions. No matter what, I am still proud of it. Best response is the best, haha. I love China

It is so difficult to get the best response when there are like 50 respondent to a discussion... but that doesn't mean we shouldn't be proud if we are the only one who responded and eventually got the best response... thanks for sharing... and i would love to visit China some day...

Definitely! It's not everyday that we are given the best response. Even if I was the only one who responded, I would still be proud to have been given the best response. Besides, the author of the discussion could have waited for other members to respond if he/she really wanted to have better responses right? Just like you, I do make it a point to give my very best when responding to discussions.

There are like a lot of us who give our very best in responding... but still some do not even care to give quality ones... they only want to increase the number beside their name... but then... mylot life does not go on because of those people... thanks for the respones...

Hello aseretdd, I will be very glad if my response is chosen as the best response. Unfortunately, the feeling won't be the same if I realize that the discussion has only one response and it is mine. I feel like that person really doesn't have any choice to choose though I understand that it is worth my time. As for me, I won't mark the best response if I only receive a response.

I know what you mean... for some people... it will be like a giveaway... since there was only one who responded... but in my case... i still mark the best response... since that person took time and gave his/her effort ing sharing his/her thoughts... thanks for the response...

I have a few responses where I am the only respondent or maybe one of two respondents and I still feel very proud of them. I took the time to voice my opinion and the original poster thought the post was quality enough to be deemed the best response. They do have the option to not select anything at all, right. Therefore, there is no shame to being the only person to post in a discussion and receive a BR!

I agree with you 100%... there is no shame in being the only person to post and then receive the best response... the main thought that time and effort took place is consideraton enough... thanks for the response...

Id be proud you took the time to think and post its worth being proud. I mean if you ran a marathon and finished 1st youd be proud even if you were the only one racing so why not on mylot too.

That is a very good comparison... the mere fact that you run the marathon and finished it no matter what is something to be proud of... just like being the only one to respond to a discussion... thanks for the response...

I am always proud to get best response no matter how many people respond. If I am the only one then I consider I am the only one that took time out to express myself. I try to be helpful when responding to most discussions. I say Best Responders stand proud...even if you are the only one... Brightest Blessings, Mari

That is a very good way to put it... as long as the time we spent in responding to a discussion is considered as well spent... then that is something to be proud of... i so love getting best responses... that is why i always give my best in responding... thanks for sharing...

Well, just like you... when i do not see a discussion that appeals to me... i go search in the discussions with no response... or if a particular member makes an appeal about his discussion with zero response... then i go check them out to see if i can respond to one that i can relate to... thanks for the response...

I agree with you... we have to give our all in responding to discussions... no just for the .01 cents... but the thought of giving our very best is the end of it all... thanks for the response...

yes i still be proud. the owner of the discussion have the choice select or not for her/his best response. if the owner didn't like your idea she/he might not choose you to be the best response. even you are the only one post a comment still it counts.

I agree... the owner indeed has the option to choose or just not mark the best response... so it is certainly and honor and something to be proud of if our response is choosen even if there is really no other choice... thanks for the response...
