my ex girlfriend

my ex girlfriend and i split up 11 weeks ago, there were alot of reasons why we split,i take the blame for an addiction issue that i'm now addressing.the problem i have is this,i am going away in the next few days to somerset for six months. in fact if things work out how i want them to i plan to relocate there. the split was a strange one, lots of things remain unsaid and i don't know how to make her realise that i won't be around anymore, the finality of it and hate to leave things as they stand. two more things complicate the situation,we have a 21 month old daughter whom i love to bits and my ex-partner has allready jumped full-on into a new relationship. if you understand my predicament and have any advice i would be gad to hear it.

If there are lots of things that left unsaid that you need to say it now so that she would understand then tell him that you are leaving to fix things in your life. About your daughter, since you really love her so much, it would be best if you talk to her that you want to be a part of your baby's life but ofcourse, you need to be stable and work things out for you and the baby. Cheers!

I think it'd be best if you just told her you're leaving. Don't leave things hanging. Good luck.

i think although yopu have broken up, still there are many things that are not finished from both sides. i think it will be good if you can keep track of what you really want to do now. for the child you can ask for custody. but think twice finally you say it a day.
