I would say bread and milk is what I buy most for my family. Diet coke is what I buy most for me. I can't believe how much milk a family of 4 can go through and try making sandwhiches for 4 people and having any bread left over we are always running out.

We rarely buy bread anymore but we go through a lot of cereal and (bagged)salad. We eat both every day, sometimes twice a day.

Cereal comes in second for us. I try to change breakfast up to kind of spread the cereal out, but sometimes it doesn't work. thank you for responding.

I think it's hardest for me to keep fresh vegatables n the house. We go through them very quickly, and since they have a shelf life I can't buy too many all at once. We usually do our shopping once every two weeks. Because of this I often end up supplimenting the fresh stuff with frozen veggies. They aren't bad, but they aren't the same. Frozen veggies usually get used in soups and such rather than as a side.

Two loaves of bread a week isn't a lot. When I wasn't dieting and had my kids at home, two of them, and my hubby, we went through a loaf of bread every day. But since I am now watching what I eat, since I am dieting, I stay away from all breads and all carbs. I mostly buy fresh vegetables since I am eating a lot of salads these days. I also drink a protein shake in the mornings, like slim fast, so I don't need bread since I don't eat it anymore. I used to eat two slices of toast every morning but not anymore. A loaf of bread lasts us a week now, my daughter and I, and so we don;t go through much anymore.

In our house, it's the eggs and hotdogs. I like boiled eggs in the mornings while my husband loves fried eggs and hotdogs for his breakfast. I use eggs in my cooking like omelets and fried rice and for baking too. Aside from frying, I also use hotdog as an ingridient or garnishing in my dishes. I always see to it that I have enough stock of eggs and hotdog in my fridge.

My mom use to have one and always made bread. I love homemade bread. I've been thinking about getting one. My father-in-law still has one and from time to time he still makes homemade bread. Thank you for responding.

probably eggs.it seems every time i turn around,we're out.really frustrating when you'd planned to cook a specific dish requiring them, and whoever ate the last didn't tell you.

My bunnies love wholemeal bread so we get through 2 to 3 loaves a week too! As for us humans, I think the item we buy the most is rice because we eat rice 3 meals a day and that finishes fast.

Mostly it's always milk, chicken and flour; cause I love to bake. Funnily enough, we don't go through bread quickly in this house. We are nearly always cooking a meal which includes chicken.
