What tooth paste do you buy?

Do you buy just one kind or do you buy what is on sale? Do you buy one brand for the whole family? I like closeup and other mint types of tooth paste so I like to stick to those it just makes my mouth feel fresher but my kids don't like them. I buy crest usually without mint in it for my daughters. I suddenly noticed though as my daughter is older she is now using the tooth paste I like. It seems like a waste now to buy a tube for just one child but I probably will*L* So what about you what do you buy?

I use a crest with mint. It is highly refreshing ans strongly whitening. there is some guy across mylot told me that he is using the baking soda to whiten his teeth. I never tried it, but i think i am gonna give it a shot.

Well, I have not had to pay anything for toothpaste for a long time. I order samples online everywhere I can find and have them stashed in my stockpile. Then I only get toothpaste that free after rebates are offered. I have worked so hard not to have to buy toothpaste or toothbrushes. I do the toothbrushes the same.

I have been using just one brand of toothpaste since many years. I dont like any with gel or mint in it. And am not to keen on changing by brand because then I feel very uncomfortable the whole day and wonder if my mouth is smelling.

We have a mix here but the current "staple" is Colgate total 12. I like it for the 12 hour supposed protection. From what I understand, no other paste in the market offers this protection.

I buy different kinds for my family. I prefer Arm & Hammer Dental Care for myself and my husband, but my daughter really likes the Aquafresh White & Shine. Luckily, my son isn't very picky and will use whatever is there. We get a lot of samples of toothpastes, so he can experiment with those. They are great to have in case we run out too. For mouthwashes, it's different too. Everyone else uses Scope or Listerine (they aren't picky about that), but I use Biotene with Calcium. It doesn't burn the crap out of me and helps with my dry mouth (from my meds).

i buy only one kind of tooth paste and of course only one brand also. I like the taste of "CLOSE UP". before when i am a kid my mother bought Colgate's for our family tooth paste. i am living alone now so i have the freedom to choose my own brand. LOL

Interesting but do you know? Some toothpaste can actually thinning the hard layers of your teeth? Be very careful which brand to use. This is how you check whether a particular brand is good for you. Squeeze a pea size paste onto the surface on a cassette plastic cover, then rub with your index finger and put near your ear and listen, if it is scratchy sound then it is made with lot of silicon. Wash away the paste and you will see scrathes on the cover, you know the answer, the more scratches it has the more damaging it is to your teeth.

I usually buy the same kind of toothpaste, something like Crest or Colgate, plain minty fresh or some such, it doesn't cost much at all. I am not into the fancy different types of toothpaste because some of them taste terrible and once, one of the baking soda kinds did something weird and icky feeling inside my mouth so, never again. Now I did try a free sample of some Cinnamon Burst toothpaste, not sure what brand it was, and it was hot and rather tasty and made my mouth feel very clean and fresh so, I have bought that one once in a great while but I usually just stick to the plain and simple one I've used for years and years.

I use Sensodyne. It costs a bit more, but I have very sensitive teeth. The other kinds, even if they say they are for sensitive teeth are not as effective. If the toothpaste is on sale, I will buy two. I do like it with mint flavor, either regular, spearmint, or wintergreen. I have not seen that in cinnamon, and that would be nice. I like it with tarter control, since I get tarter very easy on my teeth, the ones that are still left, that is. I have always had that problem, and I wish they had the toothpaste they had now when I was younger as I also had very soft teeth.

Never in my 42 years have I been able to stand the taste of Colgate, Crest, etc. so for decades I would only purchase and use Tom's of Maine even when I had to order it from their website since I had trouble finding it in some areas. Then I discovered something even better and I get it for free and show others how to do the same, just for telling others about it. We get hundreds of things for free and even get paid on top of the free items. My dentist even remarked on how I no longer get cold sores. My husband's bleeding gums stopped. We love it! In my mother's family my mom usually buy the same one paste for the whole family. But when I left home living in my own family,I usually buy two kinds for my husband and I.For it is fine to share our different flavor. I have to suggest that change paste often is good for our teeth.

Dear Tricia. I don`t know if you know it or not,but floride is bad for you.Use a toothpaste without floride.Did you know floride is just one of the ingedents in coachroach killer.S ome states have started taking it out of the tap water. If a small child happened to eat a tube of toothpaste,he could possibly die.thats how dangerious it is.I have no idea how it was allowed on the market, just try to pass things on that I read on health. I wished i could remember where I read that I would tell you,so you could look it up.I don`t like to see anyone get sick or hurt. yours truly the MIRACLEMAN. YOU HAVE A GREAT DAY.
