If you had a small town and could transform it in any way that you liked - what would you do to improve it? How would you make it a friendly place to live? What types of shops would you set up? If you could only choose one store, shop or center what would you set up and why would it be that specific thing?

I do live in a small town and am on the betterment committee. We have old buildings that need taken down but the cost is too much and the owners aren't held responsible for them. That would be the first thing I would do. Then I would open a store like Dollar General where you can get everything in one stop and not be expensive. I have often wanted to just open a dollar store here but not sure I could make a go of it. So figure one like Dollar Genreal would work.. kind of like the old fashion General stores you used to see in old towns. Maybe someday I will make my millions and can do that for my town. In the mean time we are just trying to make things look better.

I live in a small town as well, a Dollar General was just put up last summer and the owner is already trying to sell the store. Half of the buildings downtown are vacant and more and more people are leaving town. I am trying to get ideas on how I might be able to improve the community and maybe attract more traffic so that the town doesn't become a ghost town.

I live in a small town with no music stores, throw in a Heavy Metal music store and I am good to go. I don't need nothing else but that.
