Our Mother Earth ~ A poem

This is a poem that I wrote when I was in Middle School:
Mother Earth
Our Mother Earth
The place of our birth
Is becoming a place of war
And a whole lot more.
We pollute,
We fight,
Yet we don't care;
But in the end there,
May be no Mother Earth
I wrote this poem over 10 years ago, yet it still seems so fitting in todays world.

What a great poem this is. And as you mentioned, it is even more fitting today then when you did write it 10 years ago. You are a wonderful poet.
