I do not think there should be any mixing od sports with politics. Whatever happening in Tibet is very sad but that doesn't mean it should spoil a million dollar event which aims at uniting people all over the world. Thanks.

Beijing 2008 Olympic Games will be doomed to succeed completely.China is a great country with a history of over 5000 years and is the biggest developping country in the world. As a world-wide organization, olympics isn't complete without china.in my opinion, games held in beijing of china can be better able to reflect olympic culture.good luck, beijing!good luck, china!!

Hi Jeanie! I believe all our Chinese people will try our best to support Peking 2008 Olympic game, although some people use so-called freedom try to destroy it. Do the people who support their actions really understand what happend in China? We are Chinese, we know clearly. All our brothers and sisters will hold together to support 2008 Olympic games, we will prove our country are strong. Time will tell.

Olympic Games are supposed to be about the art of athletics and sports, not about politics. It's wrong to use th Olympic Games to demonize China and its people.Such actions only have the effect of desecrating the Olympics and humiliating and insulting the people of Chinese. So the protests and confrontations are doomed to failures. The Chinese people have the congfidence and ability to host the Olympic Games successfully.

i've heard about China's banning the broadcast of the event. i think it will lose the meaning of the event if the world cannot see how their countries representative fair in the event. its pointless right?? anyway, im from the Philippines. i know all about the issue and the situation China is currently in.

From your view I know the fact that you are a shorter sighter. China is the largest country in Asia.It seems as the elder brother. It always represent as the model. If there exists unfair in the Olympics, that seems China Clap herself.Who can do this stupid thing? Who can have this stupid thought? Olympics will have no chance to be held in the Philipines,so I know your feeling LOL. But as an Philipiner do you think that is special? You master China more than us? Lmao! it is so interesting.I know you are making a joking. There are the largest ppl in China,so without you or the ppl like you support, there will be no influence the big statue of China.

Hi! May I know where are you from? Yes I know some foreigners do not know about the Peking 2008 Olympics.Even you can not view it on TV,you can learn it from internet. Peking 2008 Olympics is a big event not in China but in the whole world. This is the first time held in China a large country. This stands for our great improvement and accepted by the most countries. But some country feel jealous about it,so try their best to destroy it.I will tell some of them that this idea is unaccssable. You can not affect Chinese improving step. That is a truth.

I support the athletes of the world joining to compete. I don't buy the charade the Chinese government is putting on to try and show they are kind and benevolent people. Don't get me wrong I am not slaming the people of China, just the leaders and their philosophies, don't agree with them never will. China need to get out of Tibet. The leaders have made the mess and they should deal with it.

I just want to know have you ever been to China before? How long have you stayed in China? We can't judge whether one regime is good or not only from the textbook or propagander, we must live there for some time to feel and understand it. None country and system is perfect, our country try our best to improve it and make it better and by the way our system and policy is adapt to our real situation. Do you know clearly about the history in Tibet or just learn it from a movie called seven years in Tibet? Just sit down and read more about it, then to comment it.

Yep every one support the Olympics. But from your view I know that you have suspect towards our government. That is only your type of thought.May I know if you have been to China? If your know the reality about China?Maybe where is Tibet you still do not know. What you learn is mostly for your government's comments on China. Is it believable? If we put all the Chinese ppl to any country in the world,I can say that no government can handle it.So many mouth soon ate the whole country. But in China the situation is that China improves day by day. What do you think about it? About the Tibet,do you really know it is stirred by Chinese Government? Which proof do you have?Just thinking by your mind.LMAO!

No, I don't support the Olympics this year, for a number of reasons. For one, I don't support communism. Another reason is China's violations of human rights practices. With all the protests & the whole deal with Tibet, the Olympics have become more of something the media (not just American media) can obsess over. I haven't heard any media sources converse about the different challenges and Olympic contestants, it's always about the protests. The Olympics should have been held somewhere more peaceful.

Maybe you have your own thoughts, but I want to ask you some questions. First, you said you don't support the Olympic games, because you don't support communism. Do you know the spirit of olympic games? The Olympic games help promote a better and more peaceful world. Don't mix it with politics and social systems. China has 1/5 of world population and is the biggest developing country, why can't we hold Olympic games? No one can say Olympics should not hold in China because of our social system are different between yours. Second, you said the media only converse about the different challenges and Olympic contestants. Do you know CNN reported the false news about Tibet? Whether you like it or not, Olympic game will hold in China. We will try our best to hold it peacefully and successfully. Time will tell.

I wanna ask you country peaceful? if so why the terrorism is fond of you?Why 911 event happened? LOL Think these things over then come to comment.
