If that were me, I'd take something of value from each of them as a kind of collateral until someone came clean and admitted that they took it, or until my laptop was returned to me. I don't care if they are my family or not, because if they can take something from me and lie about it, then that shows me that they have no respect for me or my things, so then they are open to having something taken away from them, I don't tolerate theifs or liars (that's a big reason I live alone now)

Flashback to 2 weeks ago. Use a locking cord for the laptop and tie the thing down, or use a suitable substitute. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16834981002 Of course its a little late for that so lets deal with now. Its possible a thief may have stolen it, but its just as likely someone close to you (those with access to your room) may have done it. I'd question those in the house. If you suspect one of them may have done it, take note. Don't lend things to them and keep your things secured. It sounds sad, but its something that should be seriously considered.

What you can do about it. Will you blame to your parents or your brothers and sisters? No you cannot do it. If this happend to me then i will no blame anyone and will try to buy another laptop from market. If this will happend again with me then i will fit a hidden camera in my room and will try to catch the thief. Thanks

The previous post is correct. It cannot just disappear, someone had to have taken it whether it was stolen or someone in the family has used it. Perhaps they had some company over that thought it would be a nice souvenier?
