be cautious or shoots from the hip ?

We know some people are quite about what they are about to say,they know what they are talking about matters too much.Some people ,on the other hand,shoot from the hip.They always blurt out and get into trouble more. What kind of people are you?I used to shoot from the hip when I was young and get myself into lots of trouble.Now I'm much more cautious about what I am about to say.But I miss that girl shot from the hip,she was innocent,naive,knowing nothing about misery,although she got herself into trouble easily.
