My son was old enough to play football last year. He is now 10 years old. My mom was really upset when I said he was playing. I couldnt' figure that one out. I thought it was really safe compated to them playing football in parks or wrestling. At least with sports they wear protection. He loved it and I loved to watch him play. There was no injuries on our team and none that I know of from other teams. The bigger kids are marked and they cannot tackle the smaller ones. I think this is a safe way to teach our kids how to play. It also teaches them the fundimentals for their future in sports. Thats why they do it. Any comments from other people about this would be great.
