When did you first drive a car?

i was 17 years old when i first drove a car. now i have my license but because of high gas prices, i'm not able to drive my car to school. boo for high gas prices.

Hello, Mannix. I am 15, and have never driven before. I am wanting to learn, but here in Brazil we can only go to the streets with the car after our 18 years old. We must also have the necessary documentantion of the vehicle and things. In fact, many just go to the streets without a license. But we all should have one. Respectfully, Munhozmib.

I was 21. I did not need a car before then. I lived in a town that had a great bus system. When I moved to another State I decided it was time to drive. I did take driver's ed in school though. But I waited because I couldn't afford to buy a car till I moved down south. If you live in the country, you need to have a car to get to work.
