I've learned how a couple of weeks ago. My approach is to solve it by layer. And my fastest is 00:02:49 which is still considered slow by those expert cubers. Do you know how? How long does it take you to solve it? Share your technique on how to do it fast.

I have never solved one of these. i gave up many years ago. I love puzzles but for some reason this one always drove me buggy.

So, what kind of puzzles do you go for?

I tend to like jigsaw puzzles the most.

Wow. I think, that is much harder to solve since you do not actually follow any algorithms, right? You just merely guess which piece goes with the other piece, and it is surely a good test for your patience. ^_^

I had it figured out when I was a kid, oh so many years ago, back when rubiks cube made its debut. The way I figured it out was to pry the durn thing apart! all the pieces off of the central axis and then I put it back together in the correct format. I studied different moves and designs to learn how to recreate them and how to get back to the completed puzzle. then I was able to solve it over and over without having to take it apart anymore. do not think I could do it today!

Hahhahaha! You made me laugh there! So a rough estimate, that's almost 30 years ago. So, when was the last time you've played a Rubik's cube?
