Sorry but I don't subscribe to magic. I believe that it's not merely hand tricks but there is a power in it from the devil. So if you are a Christian, it's better to avoid it. Have a wonderful day ahead!

Oh my why does it always have to be that magic tricks are always associated with the devil? As a magician and catholic I owe a lot to God for giving me the gift in doing magic tricks. If you only knew how much, we, magicians work hard for our tricks you would see that it is just like any other form of performance like singing, acting or dancing.

magicians have a bag of tricks, they learn their crafts, there is nothing real about it, it is all smoke and mirrors. But it is great entertainment.

Think logically here. There's no such thing as magic, period. But there are wonderful, creative minds out there who successfully create illusions designed for one thing, and one thing only - the deception of laymen's minds. No magic is real - it's the illusions that make it seem so. And apparently, there are illusions out there so realistic that when it hit's the watcher, it only makes them doubt themselves and what they previously believe. I'm hoping something I just typed made sense. ;P

I met a guy once whom I showed a few tricks. He said, he thought all those magic shows on tv are real and it involve spirits and stuff. I told him they're illusions but he didn't believe me because he thought all those things were impossible. I tried to explain to him that they were all sleight-of-hand & misdirection, I even offered to explain how some of them are done. But he declined, still insisting that they're all the work of spirits(he didn't say they were good or evil spirits). By then I gave up, because I just realised that he's one of those people who still insists they're right even though their wrong and the explanation and proof is right under their noses. So, what I'm trying to say is, magic is a performing art, just like singing or acting. Every magician has his/her own way of performing which effects how the audiences react. So it's up to yourself as an audience how to take it, whether to think that it's real or not. Just don't take it too far.
