I had a baby 6 months ago. Ever since she was born she has been difficult to feed. I have started giving her solids at 4 months because she was not eating enough milk and was hardly gaining any weight. She is now drinking about 16-17 oz of milk a day and 2 meals (2 oz of veggies or fruit/meal). How much do your babies drink/eat??

my son is nearly 2 years old now and he still has 18 oz of milk a day, it is cows milk now tho, my son was a very difficult child to feed as he was allergic to so many things including cows milk so he couldn't even have regular formula and had to be put on a special diet food. So he was always quite scrawny for his age and never ate much at all. Now tho some of his allergies have gone and he is sure making up for lost time lol and he eats like a little piglet! If your daughter is weighed regularly and the health visitors see no issues with her weight then im sure there is nothing to worry about.

well my daughter is two now, so she is on solid table foods, but i still give her ensure because she is small for her age, but so am i so all three of my children got it from me. my doctor isn't concerned because when she isn't eating dinner she is snacking so she is eating all the time. she just has a problem gaining weight, which so do i so it's not a big deal. i wouldn't worry to much about it. children go through stages, especially when they have a growth spurt where they don't eat near as much as we would like for them to. good luck and don't worry. i'm sure she is fine. God bless
