how do u travel?

i like to travel by bus or train too. it is convenient because you don't have to worry about staying awake. someone is doing the job for you.LOL however, for longer trips, say around 8-10 hour drive, i prefer to take airplanes. not for anything else but i think, being in a bus or train that long would just be too frustrating for me. i am not good at those kinds of trips coz i get bored easily.

I love to travel by train most of all, seeing scenery out of the window in the day time and sleeping in a comfortable compartment in the night time. I travel by train in my own country and the fares are expensive. I have had better deals like an Inter Rail pass around Europe, a trip across Kenya and down the Australian coast. I travel by bus if there is no train or my destination does not have a train station. The view from a bus window can be good during the day but it can be uncomfortable to travel on it in the night if the leg room is cramped. I travel by boat sometimes and like it when the sea is calm. I tend to fly because it is cheap and the quickest as well as most possible way of reaching faraway destinations. I feel worried my carbon footprint and this is something that I have heard about in the last few years. The train fare might be £300 whilst flying might be £100 so in that case it is far more economical to fly but not so good for the environment.

i prefer to travel by train but some places which are not connected to rail transprt i travel by bus .. i have not flied yet...
