The culling poll....

I had a day off the other day and hubby and I decided to go on a road trip. Fueled the beast up and off we went. As we drove up the highway we kept noting all the polls at the side of the road with memorials at the base of them. Dead flowers, dirty teddy bears, long washed out photos of the dead. I know these people were loved by someone and are dearly missed but do we really need these daily reminders at the side of the road? Most of the time these were teens or drunks or people driving too fast for the road or the conditions. So like the culling of the species where only the strong shall survive I like to call these the culling polls. Are you for or against these memorials?

It is not so much the memorials as the people attending them and parking in an obviously dangerous place to stop.
