Can you get Hotmail to spellcheck?

I've recently noticed that my hotmail messages are not spellchecked, and it got me wondering whether this was always the case. Has Hotmail ever had a spellchecker, or has it still got one and maybe I just haven't located it?? If so can someone please point me in the right direction? I can usually spell quite well but I like the added reassurance of it being checked. Thanks.
