Stopping your mum from getting involved

My mum, im sure like many other mums, cares too much. Im a uni student and she is always trying to get involved in my uni life. i.e. telling me when to study etc.. she always wants my time table and exam calendar. I just want a bit of independence. Im 20 and i have approched her about it before, she starts crying saying 'you dont love me anymore' and she starts to think i dont want her in my life. Is she doing the guilt trip? is it because im the youngest? what are your thoughts? any ideas to relieve my stress?
