I am happy where I am at, but hubby wants to move to Florida.. We have vacationed in Florida for years and now he wants to make it permanent.. Not sure that I want to..

We have many years of memories of vacations in Florida.. There was always about 6 or 7 car loads of different members of my family going at the same time.. We would use walkie-talkies and jabber back and forth all of the way down there.. We took many pit stops on the way.. My hubby had been to Florida, when driving a truck, but I hadn't, nor had my son, ever seen the ocean.. He was so very happy when we saw the ocean for the first time and that he had been the one to get us there.. We have pictures of the "tourists", myself and my son, climbing on a sand dune right next to a huge sign stating "Don't climb the sand dunes".. We have many years of vacation memories and I think that he would love to recapture them for the rest of our lives.. I am not sure that I want to leave the hills and valleys of Tennessee.

What a happy bunch of family memories! When i was younger and my Aunts and Uncles would take us places..we had wonderful memories too..one great one is my Sister puking in the Grand canyon..LOL..
Never been to Tenn. either, but have seen great pics of it!

I really like where I am now. I am a rooted person but love to go and visit many places.

I'm not sure as at the moment I quite like it where we are now. However after travelling to the Cook Islands last week, I wouldn't mind living there too LOL.

Hi Rose. I would love to live someplace out in the middle of nowhere with woods surrounding us. Someplace I could still get to the ocean now and then. North Carolina is beautiful. However, snow and I don't get along well. Barry doesn't like the cold either. So, Alabama, where we live now is fine, but how about a vacation home in North Carolina?
