When will Google release an Operating System?

It has been a long time since Microsoft released Windows for the first time and Linux has been established as it's free counterpart. However Google has grown a lot in the last years and it has developed many services which are of superior quality. How long will it take to Google to release an Operating System?

Yes I have read it in the newspaper. I think they are launching their operating system at the end of this year and they are launching this in collaboration with Hewlett Packard. And hope this will get tougher competition with Microsoft Windows and its products.
