I have just watched a documentary about the Body Farm. People who have donated their bodies and also, homeless people whos bodies have not been claimed are used at the body farm to help forensic investigators solve murders. The expose the bodies to all different types of situations. Some of the bodies are left slumped against trees, so are left hanging in trees, buried in shallow graves, in the thrunk of abandoned cars, stuffed into big drums etc. The investigators then watch how long it takes for the body to break down etc, which helps them solve other cases. Would you consider donating your body to THe Body Farm?

I have seen a film where they put donated body parts on a fire to see what happens but I do have a concern about the homeless people, I think it should only be donated bodies used for this sort of thing, I have a huge objection if they automatically use the bodies of homeless people, do they have a say, why should their bodies be automatically used if this is the case what did society do for them, I would be very interested to know if they were ever asked and if not then I feel there should be a huge protest about it, criminals I say maybe but not just because a person is homeless they still deserve dignity...

I still think they deserve to be treated with dignity and it should still be only the bodies that the people have committed by signing papers for this to happen, being homeless is a sad life I would think, they should still be buried in the normal way unless they choose to leave their bodies to be treated in this way...
