does anyone know anything about mylot?

I don't really know about the very early history of Mylot except it was started about two years ago. A lot of the first posts seem to indicate that the site might have started on a university, or at least started by someone at a university. I hear that they've always paid people from the beginning but I don't know. I started here about six months after they started and it's really changed. There were no interest categories to post in and most people didn't know what to do with tags. There were also tons of multiple posts. Now, everything is more organized and there is more moderation.
