The other day I was getting hungry and decided to go to KFC. My kids were at there grandmas and my hunny was working. So I went for a walk to KFC which is about 10 minutes from my house. When I got there I noticed an Old man sitting alone having lunch. He looked sad and very lonly. I got my order and went over to him and asked if I could sit with him and share lunch together. He looks up at me with a tear in his eye and says "yes you may share lunch with me have a seat dear." I sat and we talked for a while. A week ago he lost his wife. They had been married for 50+ years. She had a very bad illness and didnt recover from it. I told him I was so sorry for his loss and asked if there was anything I could do for him. He says "hunny you have done enough by sitting and talking with me. You remind me of my love when we were young." I started to tear up. He says "I believe she sent you here to have lunch with me and tell me she is ok." I told him I didnt know why I was there and why I had asked to sit with him I just had a feeling I needed to. He says "thats because you are my angel. She sent you here" I said well maybe thats why im here then. We sat and talked a while longer and then he said he had to go. We said our goodbyes and he asked if I would come back and have lunch with him another day. I said sure when? He says "you will know when. She will send you to me when I need you again" Now I dont know what I did other than to have lunch with an old man. But by the end of our lunch he was smiling and humming a tune as he left. Maybe I was sent there by her to cheer him up. Maybe she knew he needed a friendly face to talk to. Maybe I am an "angel" in some way. Im just glad I made an old mans day. Im glad I could be there to listen to him and to make him smile. John...Where ever you are I hope you are smiling and know that your wife loves you! We will meet again soon. What is your take on this? ~May The Kisses Of An Angel Cover And Protect You Always~ Copper

That is the sweetest thing..You could have just ate by yourself but you chose to go sit with someone you didn't know and you made him smile..Now that is wonderful...Not many people would have done this...and as your saying says, "~May The Kisses Of An Angel Cover And Protect You Always~...If he believes you are his Angel then you are....

Your welcome and thank you. I love older people. They are so full of wisdom and have been through so much. I do hope that there are real angels out there. I hope one finds you when you need them most. ~May The Kisses Of An Angel Cover And Protect You Always~ Copper

This is one of the most touching stories I have heard in awhile. I think things are sent to us when we need them the most and I think you were that something for him. You should feel great about yourself!!!

Thank you. I do feel good about what I did but I feel better about how I made him feel. If that makes sence. ~May The Kisses Of An Angel Cover And Protect You Always~ Copper
