our student body governement sent a text message to majority of the students in the school today to wear green since it is earth day. i heard this in the news as well this morning that all should show their support and care for mother nature by wearing green. so i opened my closet and looked for green clothing. i ended up wearing a dark green tunic dress. did you guys participate for this year's earth day too? how?

hi athinapie, I'm still sitting in my pajamas and they are pink.. my favorite color. It's still morning and I'm not working today so it's an acception to me. Thank you for the information about it being earth day.. if it wasn't for you, I would've never known! When I get dressed I'll find something green Cheers!

I didn't hear anything about this. But then, I don't watch the news or listen to it on the radio. Our town celebrated Earth Day this past Sunday by doing a 'spring cleaning' of the whole town. Picking up garbage, painting, pulling weeds, sowing grass seed, ect ect ect. It's done every year either on Earth Day or the weekend b4 it.

a real nice way of celebrating Earth Day…while most of us have token gestures like a speech or a badge, your village has done it in the right spirit of things. My congratulations to you for your wonderful efforts.

why? is it st patrick's day? i think earth day should be brown instead of green. i wore gray, brown shoes, and plaid cap, and shopped at Mothers Market, a vegetarian grocery store, and shopped green earth day stuff. my toilet paper is Seventh Generation, environmental recycled product.
