Extra limbs? Genetic problems? Two faces?

I have read recently two articles about two little girls in India that shocked me. One was born with an extra pair of limbs that got finally removed and now she is ok. The other girl was born with two faces, and her parents arenĀ“t allowing doctor to do anything about it because they believed her to be a reincarnation of an Indian godess. The girl might or might not leave, only time tell. My questions are: is this happening more often now? Is it happening only in India or all over the world? Do you know any other related articles about this?

Maybe its the answer to every women's prayer for an extra set of arms. If scientists want to prove evolution is real, this would be a great support story. No, I have not heard of anything like this, or if it is becoming common, but I have had conversations about such things through my recent research on the evolution topics. Do you know why they removed the extra arms? were they damaged or imoveable?

Nothing was wrong with them as far as I know. They removed them because they though that having 2 pairs of legs and 2 pairs of arms could cause her some problems in the future.
