So how did you start your day today?

The buzzing of a mosquito annoyed us all night and the bites made us so itchy that we got little sleep. However we had already decided to get up early, so we weren't going to change our minds. The alarm went off at 5.45am and we went to the beach. My BF went snorkelling - the sea was so incredibly flat, like a mill pond. Fish were everywhere. He likes to go early before all the boat activity makes snorkelling out on the reef impossibly dangerous. I took a cup of coffee with me and walked along the beach for an hour. I took some good pictures of the sunrise and the diving pelicans who were feeding on the plentiful fish. By the time we got home we felt so envigorated and the scrambled eggs at 8.30am went down a treat! How did you start this wonderful day?

My parental house is in Bangalore and a place called Malleswaram. 500 metres from the home there is a lake and everyone thought there is a mosquito menace surrounding this area. But it is not there for the past 40 years. Near our old house, we ensure there is no stagnant water, hence I do not hear the son of mosquitoes not any bites. The day started off well, because I could go for 4 km walk round the lake (the local body has made a wonderful arrangement for morning walkers). Then at business place, I had a wonderful day and now it is 9.15 p.m. at Bangalore and I am still at office, giving finishing touches to most of my jobs and customers are still there waiting to collect their finished jobs. I consider today is a great day.

Thank you for replying ssh123. The area around your house sounds wonderful, walking around the lake - I'd like that. Water is so invigorating, I love the sound of it. I am glad that when you answered this that your day was good - I hope you have many, many more!

The alarm went off at 7:45 and grudgingly I got out of bed and ate a quick breakfast of poptarts before getting dressed and getting ready to leave for my nursery school lab. I worked with the children from 8:30 to 11:00 and came back, ate lunch, took a quick hour nap and took a test. That's pretty much been the bulk of my day.
