Does cricket affecting people interest from other sports?

Cricket is the most popular game in India,Pakistan,Srilanka&some other countries.Especially for Indians cricket is their blood.actually Hockey is national game of India.But most of the does not have any interest with Hockey,Football& other games.All are going behind the cricket.With this situation does cricket affecting people interest from other sports?

I think people right now I'm too busy in their own work and so they are hardly affected by such things with competition growing everywhere we are very much dedicated to overwork takes a big toll from our body and that is the reason why we have to be always a net person at overwork and in those type of cases I don't think people will give much importance to these things.

This is an interesting discussion and might be similar to basketball and baseball. There are fans of each sport which might be fans of the other. Who knows what fans think about?
