Solution to the Tibet Issue!

Here's a solution to the issue concerning Tibet and China. Tibet should openly declare itself as an independent nation as it has done for years, and then state that it is placing itself under the rule of the United Nations. The top UN countries like America, England, France, Germany and Russia should all rush to grab the opportunity and accept the offer. China would be powerless against the top five world powers, especially if they brought their allied forces along. The whole world should recognize this decision and ignore China's childish tantrums. China can't afford to piss off any major country in the world because China's economy relies HEAVILY on exports to first world nations. After a decade, the UN should declare that they have granted Tiber its independence. If China meddles with Tibet again, let the process be followed again. The UN could grant Tibet full independence, keeping the illusion of a UN controlled nation to keep the Chinese at bay.

Umm, sounds nice. Who is gonna enforce this? China already has a TON of troops stationed there. It is also easier for China to get troops there than for anyone else. Russia, Germany, France, England and the US have all expressed reservations of defending Tibetan independence with arms. They haven't done it in the past, why would they do it now? If China gave a darn about what anyone else thought, they would not be there in the first place. They would not be using slave labor of their poeple to make things for export. They would not be executing prisoners to sell their organs to those willing to pay for them to get transplants. They would not be jailing journalists. They would not be manipulating their currency to keep it high against other currencies. There are a lot of things China would not be doing. But, they don't care what the rest of the world thinks. And the rest of the world is not about to push them on it because they want to be able to sell things to the 2 billion Chinese. The only way Tibet gets it independence back is if China either voluntarily agrees to give up, or the other nations of the world unite to kick the Chinese with their well-equipped army already in place out of there. Neither is very likely to happen.

Nicely said, Rosetta! I believe the US and other countries haven't taken up the Tiber issue quite so openly because there's nothing in it for them. On the other hand, if Tibet allowed these countries to take over, allowing them to use their land for several military bases strategically positioned across the Chinese border.... ;) China's economy depends more heavily on the rest of the world than the other way around. For the world, China is all about PROFIT. For China, the world is all about their REVENUE SOURCE. It's true that China doesn't care about the rest of the world. Perhaps if they launch an offensive like the Nazis did, they would eventually be snuffled out.

Tibet can say all the other countries can come in all they want. But, who is gonna make the Chinese leave if they don't want to. An inconveniently located military base is not worth a fight with the Chinese. Tibet is not a strategic location that will do any of those countries any good to have a base there.

Tibet would be a perfect military base location for India, which badly needs a buffer between China and itself. However, India has always been a peaceful nation and has never launched an aggressive attack. The Chinese might not leave, but it's unlikely they would risk a war with the entire world. They wouldn't have money to do anything if the world just stopped importing their goods and outsourcing manufacturing processes there. Either way, it's really sad that China picks on nations like Tibet and India when they're defenseless and the rest of the world abandons them because there's nothing in it for them. Perhaps China should get into a brawl with an Islamic nation! That would be ... well... violent!
