do you think that being restless contributes to motivation? i find it really hard to sit still (especially in church lol!) but i also know that i am a very motivated person (unless i am sick) - do you think they are different or connected?

Well, I do have Restless Leg Syndrome, LOL. I attribute a lot of my restlessness to being in pain. If I'm always doing something I think about it less. If I'm sitting down, the pain becomes more pronounced. Of course being active doesn't always help, and then I rest. But my mind continues to just run and run...

I think these two things are very connected! I cannot sit still and relax. It drives my husband nuts as he is the exact opposite. I always have to be doing something. I find it a good thing though because I get the thing I need to get done, done during the day. I get more things done in one day than most people do in a week.

I can't sit still for longer than about 20 minutes... watching a whole TV show requires lots of pacing during commercials. I'm not terribly motivated at the moment, though... more likely I'm anxious, because I'm doing many new things to improve my health, and I want to see results soon!

There is no "one" who is restless; rather it is the working of a particular mental factor, it comes and goes. If there is a balanced awareness, it does not disturb the mind.
