Have you ever been in a situation that made you beg for an enema, or even just wanted one? When I was delivering each of my children, I had just eaten a large meal and was in dire need of relief. Needless to say, that was a time that I literally begged for an enema before it became time to "push" during the delivery. It was too late for me to have one, the baby was on its way. I tried to warn the Doctor....

Nope, i've given a lot of them but i have never been unfortunate enough to have to ask for one.

Bless your poor heart for the past experience in this situation. But giving them to patients is now fun in the park either.

Especially if the patient is male. They carry on like your doing it for the fun of it and killing them in the process!

Um, no, up until now I have never had one, much less begged for one. Hope I don't have too...Interesting discussion though.

Hope you never have to have one, branmatt. If you were a woman, and getting ready to deliver a baby, perhaps you would understand better. Remember, it's an exit only.

Let me think, my answer would have to be nope and nope.

Thank goodness I've never had one yet. But I did however beg for one because I knew what was going to happen when it came time to deliver. Frankly, I didn't care at the time either.

Unfortunately I have to use them when I'm constipated. They are the only thing that brings me the amount of relief I need. I dated someone once who had never been constipated, but understood what a terrible time I have with it, and wanted an enema just so he would understand what I have to deal with a little more.
