As a race we appear to have forgotten that we share this planet with many other species. In this respect we have definite responsibilities yet our selfish actions have now led to the point where within a very short time at least a quarter of the animal kingdom will have been exterminated. Although the greater bulk of this loss will be due to loss of natural habitats, another prime cause is global warming. It means that since we ourselves are part of the animal kingdom this threat of extinction will eventually tap on our door as well. This is just a small extract from a very illumination website. I agree there is not much we can do as individuals but if everybody was to rally together, including the selfish leaders who start wars to gain status, then we might just slow down the process long enough for Nature to begin its reversal process. As we are, we are never going to stop the inevitable. Brightest Blessings, my dear friend. x

That would be great wouldn't it but as you say it will not happen through the greed for power in this world. If only we had a magic wand to make everyone get together and make each of us happy to appreciate what we have.

The people that matter have a lot to answer for. Instead of asking us to bring the plastic bags bags to the supermarket for recycling, do not make them in the first place and make us use our own again and again.
