I got my 3rd part-time job, I am so excited!!

As some of you know, I am a receptionist at a local factory just down the road from my house. This is my every day job, where I know how much money I will bring home each week. My second job is that I am a part-time officer with the police department here in town. I love this job. I get to work when it is convenient for me. I just found out about my 3rd job a couple of days ago. I am now a part-time Corrections Officer at the Juvenile Detention Center here in the county that I live in. I have been hired as a sub. After my 80 hours of training are complete I will only be working when needed, when people are off sick or on vacation. I can't wait to get started with my training. This job will be great experience because I eventually want to be a Juvenile Probation Officer. I just wanted to share this news with all of you fellow mylotters because I am so excited about it!!! wow, three jobs, that sounds like a lot. when do you ever get a moment to breath, or just be? I commend you, but i know that I could not do it. Congrats to you honey, you are a tropper for real!!

Really it isn't that bad, I still have free time...at times..lol When I do police work, I do that when I want and I am only required to put in 24 hours a month. So as long as I get at least a 6 hour day in once a week, I am good to go..lol I really hope though that this Correction officer job turns into full time..that would be great and the benefits would be awesome! As i read your story, i find myself adoring you and it makes me proud as a woman. It proves that woman are really really good in different field and they can do what a man can do. It is not really easy to have 3 jobs because you need to balance your time and family but friend do not forget to take vitamins and right sleep so that you can be active every time you work.
I used to be receptionist but not in the factory and i find the job very easy and interesting. I hope you enjoy it also and working as a Part time Officer is great also. There are only few people who have given a chance like yours. Many people will not only adore you but also love you because you are not working hard for yourself but for the people around you at the same time you find yourself enjoying.
I am very glad that i read the discussion that you started. I have never seen someone like you. You are so lovely and adorable woman. Please do what i suggested vitamins and right sleep,Friend?

Sorry it has taken me so long to respond to your comment. Thank you so much for such sweet words. I have never had such great things said to me about me working three jobs. It really is appreciated, thanks so much. Thanks for the advice about the vitamins and I do try to get the right amount of sleep, but obviously, sometimes there just isn't enough time to get the right amount of sleep. Wow, congratulations! How will you fit these three jobs in your schedule? It seems it would be interesting going to the Juvenile Detention center, but it seems like you would have to put up with a lot of stuff.

I can fit all 3 into my schedule because they are all 3 part-time jobs. The police work I do when I want to, I make my own schedule there, so that is nice. As for the receptionist job, I have a set schedule, and will just work the correction officer job around that job schedule and my kids ball games..hopefully. I know I will have to miss some but that is what we have to do to make it in this world anymore..grr.
Yes, there is are a lot of situations to deal with at the Juvenile Detention Center but I believe it will be great experience for me since I want to be a Juvenile Probation officer.

Girl I know you are busy. But you always have time for friends. I hope that it all works out for you. I hope that you get into a job where you can use your education full time...and it sounds like you are definitly on your way to do that!!! Congrats!

Thanks dear, yes my schooling is actually starting to pay off. Not in the way I want it to, yet anyhow. But I know that it will turn out good all in due time. I can't wait to become a probation officer, I know that is where I belong and it will happen!!! Love ya girl, Nelly
