I like it because of its simplness and elegance. It adds to me what I've felt was missing. None of my tats are huge. I have a frog on my foot and tiger cub on my calf. They are symbolic, not necessarily for show.

I guess if you want a simple tattoo. Yeah, guess so. Some people like me, prefer to get huge tattoo for remembrance. I use to collect small symbolic tattoos, but I find it not worth it and since I started to get this addiction of the tattoo pain, I started to get huge tattoos.

Sorry, forgot to share, the tattoo on my calf is a vine too.And I believe this, having a tattoo doest mean to get one and to be the attentions of others, but to get a tattoo done base on your interest, you believe, you love towards the tattoo arts. A living canvas. Just tot to share.

I have always felt like I sort of blend into the background. And was going through a "finding myself" period of time. I've never seen an ear tattoo, and thought this was a perfect way to make myself stand out, and be remembered for something besides my husband and kids. I chose a vine because of my faith, and the verse in the Bible, where Jesus says, I am the vine, you are the branch. Whoever remains in me, I will remain in them." Its a constant reminder of who I am in Christ.

No, actually it didn't hurt at all. I had to have the artist stop to allow me to laugh, and revamp my mind frame to tolerate tickling instead of pain. I know its hard to see. It's a vine that wraps around the lobe.
