No. You are taking advantage of these poor people. They can't make an equitable bargain in these situations. They are desperate for money and any amount sounds good to them. But, then, they sell the organ, don't get decent follow up care because they can't afford it, so they can't work. Which leaves them worse off than before. There is a village in Pakistan where most the young men have a scar from where they sold a kidney. They are just as poor, if not poorer, than before the sold the kidney to pay off debts. Our current system may not work, but it is better than exploiting poor people. Oh and buying organs is illegal under international law.

i really do agree with you friend buying organs from the poor is taking advantage of them . a small amount too seems big enough for them to sell of their organs they can be manipulated the way they want and hence can be easily cheated without any scenes being created, There should be an government body regulating these buying and selling of organs

No, it should be illegal, PERIOD. The government should not get involved in allowing in this any way, shape or form. Once you start buying and selling, there is too much room for abuse. Plus, you wind up the rich being the only ones who can afford the organs, while the poor are the only ones giving up the organs.
