Does being a vegetarian makes you animal-friendly?

I've been hearing a lot of people that are advocating animal rights who are not fan of any animal products, even eating animal meat. Personally, i can't imagine myself eating solely vegetables in my entire life.

I think this is a good post as I too have eaten meat all my life but I do like vegetables too. My early life was on a farm and we had chickens, cattle, dairy cows, and pigs and it was a lot of meat and we grew a lot of vegetables too. My wife is from the Philippines and she is a pinay too but she too likes meat and cooks very good meals that are not only Philippine but other cuisines too. My "asawa" worked six years in Japan as a nanny and learned to cook there and she learned to cook many style of food and its all good. I read a sign on a truck yesterday that said "vegetarian is Indian for bad hunter" and PETA "people eating tasty animals"...i thought that was kind of funny as peta is a big animals right advocate. Have a nice day pinoy..thanks for the post
