To Phone or Not to Phone

When you get a call on your cell phone and do not reconise the no. do you call back or just ignore it? If they leave a message and it's for someone you have never heard of do you call them back to let them them know that they reached a wrong number? After getting my first cell i kept getting messages for "Robin" at first i just deleted it. After about the 50th time i would call them back and tell them that she no longer had this no. even then i recieved calls for her for mos.!

i have gotten a few calls on my house phone that i didn't know and i still answered b/c i never know when it is somebody for my husband. but now that he has a cell phone if i don't know the number i don't answer it same goes for my cell.

i will usually answer a number that i don't recognize. But if i miss the call then I don't bother to call back. If it's for me then they will call back if it's important.

I set my friends, colleagues and family's phone numbers in my cellphone. So when they call me, it will show their names. If not, it must call from a stranger. If it's the local call, sometimes I will still pick it up. If not, then I will use a software from my cellphone to check where this call comes from. If it's from a place I won't know anybody there, I will ignore this call.

I do NOT answer it. If it isnt programmed in my phone, they dont need to be calling me:)

I generally ignore it, and if I dont recognize the number, I usually dont answer it. I know that they reissue the phone numbers so I guess thats where it sometimes comes from. If they persistently call I will answer and tell them that they have the wrong number.
