Once a dead Rose plant

I and my girlfriend bought a lovely red rose plant to plant in our garden. After a couple days we moved to a friend's village left out rose with no water. When we back it had no leaves and burnt buds. We told to our friend about the incedent on the next day. His mother gave a wonderful idea. She told us to cut all the branches and nurish the plant as a lively one. We started to do half hearted. There happens the wonder, the rose started to grow. It is still in our garden. But the mother of my friend died a few months ago. We saw her as the rose plant.
