Chuck Norris Jokes

How many Chuck Norris fans have come across a Chuck Norris list of things, a joke? I have come across this many times, and the first time being when I first met my fiance. Upon reading it, I thought that it was kind of wrong, and decided not to tell him about it. Chuck Norris is a great man, his role as Walker has brought alot of people to admire him and what great morals he showed in the series. It shocked me when I realized (later) that so many other people had posted this same list on various parts of the internet. As a child I learned to respect authority as well as to be cautious around people to whom seem nice but were in fact not. It showed me the difference between right and wrong and was generally educational to anyone who watched it. What are your views on these kind of jokes, and what did you do when you saw it?

I have come across Chuch Norris jokes many times,and I have to admit a few of them are funny,but most of them are wrong,and very slanderous on his good name.They show him to be a bully who beats up children and cute little animals just because he wants too,when in fact I agree he is a great man,his morals and his attitude on Walker Texas Ranger,brought alot of people to admire him,and his fight for justice.Im sure it has inspired alot of young people to try and do whats right,even though the world seems to be going down hill.Watching Chuck Norris as Walker,helped me also to respect authority,and helped me to get a better understanding of right and wrong,and it shows that you always have to be careful who you trust,cause some people will turn on you in a heartbeat, which is very educational when it comes to our kids, cause they need to know to be careful when it comes to strangers.I think whoever does those jokes should be punished,and if I was Chuck Norris I would take out a lawsuit against anyone who posted them,and I wish there was someway to get them taken off the internet permanently.

I agree that something should be done about those jokes, but whether any law suit would be held in courts is beyond me. I would think that it would be taken out of court, and possibly laughed at because people do have a right to free speech. Cases on the internet are probably even harder to catch and track, as well as prosecute because of the free laws of the internet (or in most parts!). I am sure that it would be an exhaustive search, and very expensive.
I do wish that there was a way to take these things off the internet in bulk as I am sure that if enough people got together and formed a petition these things would be deleted. It's hard to do that though, and there is no guarantee that they will stay off the internet.
Although, I wonder if the creators of Walker, Texas Ranger could do anything about it, and accomplish more then just Chuck Norris alone could. After all, the people who wrote the jokes and continue to allow to float around the internet are slandering his good name, and their great show.

Thats true, theres always a chance the lawsuit would be laughed out of court, because there is the first amendment which gives the right to free speech,however,the first amendment does not give the right to slander someones good name,which in this case its slander,because there is nothing to prove the jokes are anywhere close to the truth,and last time I check slander is a crime punishable by law.I think that your right if a petition could be created and signed by a lot of people, then maybe the jokes could be taken off the internet,and it would be hard to keep them off, but im sure if people kept there eyes open for jokes like that and reported them, then that would help to keep the internet free of slanderous jokes.Thats true I wonder if the creaters of Walker Texas Ranger could do something about it,because the jokes not only slander Chuck Norris's good name,they also slander his role on Walker Texas Ranger,and it would be hard for Chuck Norris to do anything since he is a mere man, but if he is anything like the characters he portrays then he is tough as nails and can do anything he puts his mind too,and to move the world all you need is a big enough lever.
