Rice Shortage?

We've stocked up, but not because of the shortage. We like basmati rice, and buy it in 20 lb bags from the international food store next to the university campus. I dropped by there today and picked up a bag, and they had plenty. Part of me thought that I should get several bags and then sell it on eBay. But then I thought that would be a bad idea to take advantage of people where there are shortages. I will share this information with my friends in Tulsa, where the Sam's Clubs have limited people to how much rice they can purchase. Are you being affected by the global rice crisis? If so, do you have a viable alternative? We like rice, but we also like potatoes as a starch.
