Hi all, Well, after taking about 2 months off of Ebay, I got nervous with their new feedback thing and all, so I took some time off and let my friends have all the fun. lol Anyway, I just listed 2 things tonight, nothing big just some coupons that I have sold on Ebay before with no problem. I am wondering how do you draw attention to your stores or auctions? I am in a few groups, but that's it. I would love to get some attention drawn to the store itself. I have 5 things that are in my store, and 2 auctions (coupons). If you are willing to share your advertising ideas, I'd be so appreciative. NO REFERRAL LINKS please. I don't want this discussion deleted. Thanks Oh I put the link to my store in my profile if anyone wants to have a look.

There's quite a few ways to promote your Ebay auctions/store. I sent you a pm, with a couple of the ways you can help drive traffic to your auctions and a second with a site that is just incredible and makes sooo much sense. I think you'll love the ideas...they work for me & I bet you'll see how you can benefit also!

First of all...WELCOME to myLot!! I hope you find the site as useful and enjoyable as I've come to. There's many ways to help promtoe your Ebay auctions. Wording and a great picture (or pictures) always help. It's important to give an honest description. The key to selling on Ebay is to have repeat customers. When customers are happy with the item they bought, they'll look you up, next time they go on Ebay. Giving them a clear image of the item is very important and can sometimes be the difference between buyers having a bidding war over your listing or your listing get only 1 or 2 (or zero) bids. Don't be afraid to ask a buyer to add you as one of their "favorite" sellers. There are so many more little things you can do and I'll be happy to share. I sent you a friend request, accept it and I'll send you a few ideas that step outside the box and work very well!

I sometimes put up a posting on one of the forum groups I belong to, just to let people know that I have an auction listed but apart from that I rarely bother. In general buyers on eBay will check their searches and can see all items for sale in those categories.

Good luck icy. I have only sold one thing with ebay and that was absolutely yonks ago, so I don't know what the best way of doing it is any more. A friend of mine does it all the time. I will see what she says although I think she just puts the items up with some good catchy wording and that's that. I will check though for you. Thanks for sharing this with us and again, good luck!
