Geezzzzzzzzzz Does anyone have those expensive cell phones w/keyboard/pda/palm computer things? I never really know how to react when my hubby says it's time to get another because... (Quite frankly I get tired of this because...). It's usually not broken but something else is up... Oh the new ones I really want he says because it's got... Right now it's gpa. It makes me mad I know he likes to be up to date like anyone else but I am so tired of paying the highest price for modern technology because "no one" really has helped to pay for it yet due to newness and modern technology, and not enough demand (due to being so new yet). I just want to scream. He also said something about it being windows and not "palm computer" Operating system. I really just want to cry screaming and hollering. I guess I can somehow feel somewhat better since his... taste is for this type of thing versus, a new vehicle. Don't get me wrong mind you the vehicle he drives is a 99 suburban with almost every thing they ever came with. Bug guard and all. But I am tired of fighting to live on a 6 pack budget and maintain a standard of living. But have a hubby who's technology state is so much over and above. 600 dollars worth of phone makes me sick. I said to him you know that a lap top would cost less than that. Mind you he would only pay 300 because sprint picks up the rest but.... Dang. When oh when do my "rewards" for giving up all, anything, extras. I am 43 and the youngest child is 15 now. They will not get cheaper the kids I mean but... somehow they do become less of a "burden" when they work and begin to try to pay for "things" of their own. I hope they don't (the youngest I mean) think she's getting that. That was never HER standard of living. Well tell me what you think. Remember he works with computers and is the only "bread" winner and earns 50,000 plus yearly with all those insurance benefits, flex spending 2,250 this year whew. God Blesses!

As yo ualready know he will eventually work enough hours to convince you that he ceserves the newest and bestest. I think that you need to go out and find you something that really rocks YOUR world and tell him why you Gotta gotta have it. Maybe let him spring for that operation you need to have Love you all

He'll spring if it has to be had if he doesn't want to or not, that won't ever be a option. Gotta gotta have?....,??? I want to say there is never that... But truth be known, it's not true. I got wheel of fortune when I wanted that. I got to see titanic over and over at the theatre when I hardly could get enough. We went to disney 3 times when the kids were little we went to canada, we even went to myrtle beach when we lived in wisconsin. Indianpolis when we lived north too. We went "home" for Christmas' that I wouldn't have traded for. Honestly I can't complain and I am not either. I don't NEED for anything, wanting is always another thing. I'll think about it. You know I really wanted to go see REO a 1st of this month but it was just a want and the tickets were for 2 probably a weeks worth or more of grocery money. Now they are coming to other area places but I did "shop" and the prices were cheapest for April 1st, I think it was april first anyways, it's past. I think I might just bring that up in defense of purchase and say you "owe" me next time I really think WE will spend some on my WANT. Even my son said he was thinking about coming up with the funds for those tickets but I discouraged that because they certainly weren't cheap. 34 or 38 or somewhere in there. I just remembered my other want is for a laptop cord and battery so I can sit other places and surf/play on puter online. I think I will push for that immediately. Since I am still eating a screen to see, and think that a laptop will help. I better check out one first in the mean time. Since I might not be able to see it well enough anyways.
