What would you do if YOU became homeless?

I already have it planed out just in case this would happen to my family. My oldest would have to find an apartment or go stay with a friend, or even get his own place, he works, but doesn't make a lot of money for an apartment. Then my 17 year old would have to move with his dad and my 15 year old has a lot of friends to stay with. I would have to take my youngest and either stay at a shelter or live in our car. Somehow I would get all of my stuff to storeage after redusing it down as far as I can. Get rid of everything that is not needed. Go through papers and see what I don't need anymore. We do own a tent, so if someone would let us set that up, we could live in it for a while also, while it is warm out. I would cook on a small grill and use branches to have a fire to cook over. I would have to goto food pantries to get food to get my son and myself by week to week. Maybe even take advantage of a few places that offer food. We would have to wash up in a park restroom daily. What would YOU have to do to survive? Do you have a plan?

Luckily for us, we cannot stay homeless because we have a wide area of free land where we can construct a small house. So if you can come to our place I'll give you a free 1000 meters of land and a farm for you to till. But you need to be very patient and hardworking because you will not be working in an office but you will be under the sun farming. The good thing is that there are no pressures in paying electric bills, water bills, and other bills since there is no electricity, and water is free.

Thanks for the offer, but due to health issues, I can't work. I want to put in a small garden, but it will be too much work for me and too hard for me right now. So, I got 5 gallon buckets and I am planting tomatos in there and looking for those long planters to put other veggies in. I think the only thing I will have to plant is the corn into where I had a garden last year. My kids are no help to me really unless I scream and hollar at them to help me! So I guess I will be eatting well this fall. Still got to figure out how I am going to do the canning, because I can't stand long enough to do much anyore. Thanks for the offer though.

I truthfully cant say as I have, for though I have been in situations where I didnt have a home I could call my own, most of my family lives near me so I always had somewhere to go. You post does give one something to think about though.

No I don't have such a plan in the works because I live like that just about everyday of my life. I am one step away from destitution and I just live day by day and keep figuring out how to stay on top of it, so it never happens.
