Did you know that Lao and Cambodia used to be part of Siam?

It was also known as Khmer kingdom. Some Thai historians I heard say that when the French and other imperialists came to invade the land, the king of Siam gave Lao and Cambodia to them to protect Thailand territory.

Don't ever fail to visit the Ancient City. It's near the Crocodile Farm and Show in Samutprakan just a few kilometers outside Bangkok. You can hire a van for 1500 one day including petrol and driver who will drive you around the Ancient city because it's a big place. Then you can proceed to the Crocodile farm about 5 kilometers away.

I can't really remember but I guess I may have studied that as part of my world history as a student. I guess, each country or place was a part of something at some time. Good of you to remind us of that.
