Divorce in 3 Minutes

I just came across an article of a muslim man divorcing not one but two wives in a matter of three (3) minutes. Yes, THREE (3) minutes and although the article has mentioned that the wives had seek for the divorce I just simply could not take the triviality and the way the matter was handled. FYI he has 8 children in his 3 marriages (1 of the divorces took place earlier than this 2). What do you think? Could you accept such a thing? Would you accept the Syria Law of the muslim community?
