Thank you, bubba! I was raised Buddhist, and now also occasionally attend a christian church (there's good things to learn everywhere). I have never had a problem with "In God We Trust". In fact, I'm almost protective of it because this great country of ours was founded by God-fearing people who had the foresight to put into their constitution that every man, woman, and child should have rights. I respect them as they did me almost 200 years before I was born. Even when I was little in the Buddhist church, I remember our reverend telling us, that "if you don't want to say 'under god' during the pledge of allegiance, then just take a deep breath when it gets to that part. Don't make a fuss over it." Because, really, religion has nothing to do with allegiance to the country...the armed forces lets everyone fight for us! In god we trust, Under God, and the Christmas tree at the white house need to remain. Andy Roony made a great statement about this. If I can find it then I will post it to you. Aloha!
