Who here is frustrated over gas prices?

HEre in Canada they keep going higher and higher.. 3-4 times a day they change..its rediculous. I remember the days when people were angry and thought 85 cents was way to much...now gas has gone up to $1.20 and its supposed to go up to $1.50 this summer and not go down! No ones going to be able to afford to drive around all the time anymore, i really think if this keeps up, most people are gonna stop driving their cars and rely on busses, bikes, and their feet more.

i really do not understand why the prices of oil is going up. is it because the OPEC is becoming a lot more greedy than before and they would like to take over the world again and again and again. so that the world would be so dependent on them. there are a lot of alternatives but all our governments is not allowed by the economic community to invest on because it would hurt the worldwide economy and a lot of companies will loose money and there would be lay offs here and there. if this goes on we will have a MAD MAX scene at our hands where every one will kill for oil and because of so much progress that all trees have been cut and all is left are sands and stones.

Alot of people blame the war over seas for the inflation, but honestly i think they're doing it just for the sake of doing it. Another story i heard was that they're doing it cuase they're paranoid something bigs going to happen. I really dont know. But if they are trying to take over the world they should think again. There are so many other solutions to driving that itd be useless to them. People will start getting electric cars, or bike, or walk, or take the bus..or carpool, i really dont think that they will be profiting that much from the inflation as people just simply cant afford it and will find other resources.

We here in the U.S.a. are also very frustrated with the very high gas prices. It is the same way here.You never know when the prices are going to jump up again. i do not know how much more of this we can really take.we can not afford to go anywhere.If my health was good enough I would get a bike, or walk, but I have a very bad back, so those two options are out for me.i do not go anyplace that I do not really have to go any more. I sit at home most of the time. These gas prices are affecting us in so many ways, higher food prices, electricity has gone up.It is really terriable.
