I lived in Japan for 6 years about an hours flight north of Tokyo. It was not like I had expected; you know like what you see on TV. In Misawa Japan it was like a small town. There were trees everywhere, beaches you couldn't swim in. There were no police patrols it was so calm and trouble free. The only trouble was caused by the local military unfortunately. Just minor stuff; having too much fun late at night. The parks were nice, the zoo I went to made me sad. There was a bear in a cage no higher than 6 feet and almost as wide. He looked so sad. It was ok to use the restroom in the alley; and there is nothing weirder than seeing a mamasan doing that. The people were nice and helpful and it was nice; just different cultural stuff. I would go back. Have you ever been to Japan and if so where at?

Nope, not yet.I look forward to go to this great country someday , when i have enough money. I heard alot about the people which are friendly and they are very dedicated and disipline. You should try to adopt and adapt to the new enviroment, only then the living will be enjoyable.
